The PMU Professional Trust is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving standards within permanent makeup education.

Founded by practising professionals with a passion for raising the bar, our mission is to create a more consistent, competency-led approach to training that better prepares artists for safe, confident and successful practice.

Through collaboration with some of the industry’s leading educators and specialists, we are developing a standardised pre-learning programme, ensuring every learner receives a strong foundation in essential theory before practical training begins, regardless of where they study.

Alongside our independent accreditation framework, we support academies through robust quality standards, competency-based assessments and ongoing quality assurance, helping trainers deliver education that reflects the needs of today’s industry.
